2023 Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

Dear Neighbor,
Thank you for looking into how you can support a local farmer! We greatly appreciate the opportunity to share with you the fruits of our labors.....and this year, we're looking at doing something a bit different with the goal of providing safe, on-farm opportunities to connect with each other and your food all the while gaining the skills to provide food for yourself and others.
SERVANT SHARE CSA This year we'll be offering two CSA options Work Along OR Pick Up Only.
Mondays 9-11AM WORK ALONG
Mondays 11AM PICK UP ONLY
During the 9-11AM time frame you can come to the farm and tend the Veg Patch with us. Learn how to grow food in a raised bed which easily produces food for a family of 6-7. We will provide everything you need and teach you how to produce food for yourself. Learn about- A square-foot gardening plan, seed, seedlings, soil amendments etc and will tend to the watering throughout the season. Likewise, we'll provide a weekly "menu" of what's ready to harvest, recipe suggestions, guidance and support as you move through the gardening season. Heading on vacation? No problem, either donate your share or have a friend pick it up at the appointed time.
In addition to amazing produce each week, our goal is always to provide you with the skills and confidence to garden for yourself after a season with us.
This is also a great outing to have with your pod or family.
We will maintain social distancing & follow current
CDC guidelines for everyone's safety.
As with years past-we will also be preparing food to donate weekly---passing along the abundance. We have again chosen to focus on low income seniors that might not have access to other food outlets. Just by participating, you're helping to address food insecurity in Lewis County.
Shares are priced as follows- $33/ box
Summer Share- June 12th thru August 328th. Twelve Weeks: $396
Fall Share- September 4th thru October 30th. Nine Weeks: $297
THE FLOWER PATCH CSA- Farmer Ellie tends "The Flower Patch" from which she crafts seasonal bouquets from late June through October. Pick up can be arranged on demand. As with the Veg CSA, a Flower Patch share affords you a discount weekly. In addition- in the spirit of sharing out of our abundance, we will be donating bouquets to a local hospice agency for distribution throughout Lewis County. We are thrilled to be able to bring a bit of beauty into the lives of our neighbors as they walk the final leg of their journey.
Summer Share (flowers)- 10 Weeks End of June thru August ($170)
Fall Share (flowers)- 9 Weeks September & October ($153)
We believe we have been abundantly blessed-
and we aim to give out of that abundance.
We've found that our partners feel the same way.
